      As The People Network candidate/ client, you can be rest assured of the highest levels of confidentiality, which includes the following but not limited to it:
  • Reasonable care is undertaken to protect the confidentiality of our employers and candidates;
  • The identity of an employer is revealed only after confirming the suitability of a candidate;
  • A candidate’s details are revealed to the employer after seeking the candidate’s permission

You do not become a candidate for a particular position until The People Network has conducted an initial evaluation of your suitability for the opportunity and unless you express an interest in pursuing such an opportunity.

Nature Of Information

The People Network recognises the definition of ‘Personal Data’/ ‘Personal Information’ defined in the relevant legislations in India and internationally to inter alia include information that relates to a natural person, which either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information that is available or likely to be available to a corporate entity, is capable of identifying such person.

Additionally, The People Network recognises that the following (though not limited to this) constitutes ‘Sensitive Personal Information’:

  • personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs;
  • trade-union membership;
  • genetic data, biometric data processed solely to identify a human being;
  • health-related data;

Purpose Of Collection Of Personal Data

  • Whenever a candidate posts personally identifiable material on our site, for example when registering as a candidate for our executive search services, when uploading or building a resume, or posting your feedback and comments, or posting your opinion/vote/answer to a question, etc. in any interactive part of the site, you confirm that you do so with independent will, unconditionally and under no duress from The People Network or any other party related to it.

We also reserve the right to disclose Personal Information in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of all or part of the business, or where we believe such disclosure may be required by law or may be appropriate in connection with any legal claims.   • If The People Network merges with or is acquired by another business, we may share personal data with the new owners of the business and their advisers and if this happens, you will be sent notice of such an event;
  • It is entirely up to you whether or not to submit your personal data. However, if you do not do so, you will not be able to take part in any future initiatives at The People Network that might be exclusive to registered members or to those who have left their feedback on our website.
